    Dan Murphy was a reporter for the Bloomberg News Bureau in Jakarta and Far Eastern Economic Review, covering Indonesia/East Timor in the 1990s. In 2000, he joined The Christian Science Monitor as a staff writer, reporting from numerous continents and countries including Southeast Asia and Iraq.
