John Wilson: Prints & Drawings

"John Wilson: Prints & Drawings" includes a range of the artist's works on paper drawn from his extensive career as a nationally recognized Boston area artist. Rare works from the 1940's and 1950's will be on view as well as several of his more recent prints including his famous rendition of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Wilson's natural ability as a superb draftsman was evident in his early teens; he developed his skills further through his studies at the Museum School, Boston and with Fernand Leger in Paris. He worked with Diego Rivera in Mexico and made prints at the famous Taller de Grafica Popular.
