Kira Seamon's innovative creation pairs live singing/music with dance!! Performing music by Georges Bizet, from his opera Carmen, are award-winning dancer/choreographer Kira Seamon and graduates from the New England Conservatory and Longy. Bizet's music brought to life with live singing and innovative dance choreography. Audiences have described her work with New England Light Opera last year as "one-of-a-kind...a triumphant evening...a feast for the senses, so many textures/feelings, each more gorgeous than the last...very talented...terrific" and Kira's dancing was described as very graceful and beautiful. More on Kira's work can be found at her Channel on Youtube!! Also performing for the second half of the program is Sallee Slagle and her Forty Steps Dance Company!! Sallee is an outstanding choreographer and I am excited to perform with her Company again, following our successful show last November at the Multicultural Arts Center in Cambridge. She always has beautifully trained dancers and interesting choreography and music! Forty Steps Dance Company performs all 3 nights.
