April 8 - April 25, 2010
The Salem Theatre Company will open A.R. Gurney’s poignant comedy Later Life on April 8th as the first full Main Stage production in the group’s new venue in downtown Salem at 90 Lafayette Street. The play is directed by John Fogle, and marks his first Main Stage production as the STC’s new Artistic Director. Gurney’s play explores the infinite possibilities that life presents, through the eyes of Austin and Ruth – a couple rekindling a romance begun almost thirty years prior. Tickets ($20 adults, $15 students/seniors) will be available starting March 15th online at www.salemtheatre.com, by phone to 978-790-8546, or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The STC is pleased to offer a special “pay what you will” preview performance on Wednesday, April 7th, at 7:30pm. Join the director and cast for a Talk Back session after the Thursday, April 15th performance. Later Life: enjoy yourself…it’s later than you think.
