    Bookmark and Share Considered an iconoclast in the dance world, this outstanding French choreographer draws on diverse influences from the worlds of science, performance art, and contemporary dance. Self-Unfinished presents Le roy alone on stage as he morphs between human and machine, slowly contorting his body into a variety of surprising poses. the hour-long piece, performed in silence, suggests a world of multiple possibilities and reveals LeRoy’s ongoing interest in robotics. This performance contains nudity. Post-performance discussion: Learn more about the artist’s research and a new piece, Anthropomorphic, that he’s developing with MIT scientists and researchers.
