Mission- YAVA is a Boston-based group of recent college graduates and young professionals who have a shared interest in community improvement and social networking and demonstrate as such through one time volunteer opportunities.

History- The Young Alumni Volunteer Association (or YAVA) was founded in 2005 by a group of civic minded Northeastern University graduates. The group was led by YAVA creator and co-founder Allie Corless. Allie's vision was simple yet effective and remains at the core of YAVA's mission to this day; connecting young professionals in the Boston area through one time volunteer opportunities.
