Organization

The Stow Community Chest is a tax-exempt charitable organization, managed by a volunteer board of directors. The job of the Board is to raise funds and to review funding requests from non-profit service providers. The Community Chest raises money with an annual town-wide letter solicitation for tax deductible donations in the fall. Following the completion of the campaign, the money that was raised is then allocated to the various requesting groups to provide support of social, health and human services for Stow and surrounding communities.
