A revolutionary new concept in musical outreach. Guitar and Friends presents young artists at the beginning of their carers in a wide variety of venues throughout the Boston Area.

Guitar & Friends was originally created in Salzburg Austria in 1997 by Eliot Fisk and his students: Yvonne Zehner, Christina Schorn, Marco Tamayo and other working closely with Mag. Alexandra Laufer.

Guitar & Friends was created to expand performance opportunities for young guitarists. They were encouraged to collaborate with other instruments and to provide a service to the general community by bringing music to unconventional settings.

Guitar & Friends now crosses the Atlantic, making a new start.

Students from the New England Conservatory and the Boston area will join to participate in each concert, giving a new birth in America to what began more than a decade ago in Austria.
