Fire Opal is an American Handmade craft gallery with two locations: 320 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA and 638 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA.

In the community since 1984, Fire Opal is committed to American Craft. Based in two of Bostons most vibrant communities proprietors Sue Stein and Steve Murakishi dedicate themselves to bringing Jamaica Plain and Brookline the best of handmade jewelry, ceramics, wood, glass and metal from artists across the country.

Fire Opal has been named one of 25 top retailers in North America, for 2009. The Niche awards program recognizes craft retailers who are committed to fair business practices and to growing and strengthening the American handmade craft community. Fire Opal was selected from over 600 nominations. We are extremely grateful to our wonderful customers, the great communities we serve, and our fabulously talented artists.
