Carl Fitzgerald has spent months perfecting his show. He is so superstitious that he hasn’t let any of the producers see it until opening night at the historic Colonial Theatre in Boston.     12/09/10- 12/12/10	NINE Greene Theater NINE Presented by Emerson Stage at Emerson College at Greene Theater December 9-December 12, 2010 Maury Yeston’s NINE (1982) follows filmmaker Guido Contini during his struggles creating his next film. Narrated through the lens of the various women in his life, including his wife, producer, mistress, leading lady, mother and other ghosts from the past, Contini finally is able to create his masterpiece. NINE is based on Frederico Fellini’s 1963 film 8 ½ and will be directed by Bill Fennelly and performed in the Greene Theater.

A story of love and war, THE GOLDEN AGE confronts the politics of the time while wrestling with its past.
    03/24/11- 03/27/11	Newfest 2011 Semel Theater Newfest 2011 Presented by Emerson Stage at Emerson College at Semel Theater March 24-March 27, 2011 Through the generosity of Rod Parker ’51, an Emerson playwrights are given the opportunity to submit work in the fall (deadline November 5, 2010). This comedy revolves around two very different sets of lovers, Beatrice and Benedick and Claudio and Hero, and the obstacles they overcome.     02/12/09- 02/15/09	X Dance Greene Theater X Dance Presented by Emerson Stage at Emerson College at Greene Theater February 12-February 15, 2009 The spring line-up begins with X Dance, a showcase of new work by Emerson's dancers and choreographers. X Dance will be artistically directed by Marlena Yannetti who has been teaching dance at Emerson for over 30 years. Ms. Yannetti describes X Dance as "an exciting opportunity for students to meet and exchange choreographic ideas, and one that results in interaction between students that might not have otherwise met."
