  This was not my first time attending a NBFT performance. I usually enjoy their shows but I have to say.... Hair was FANTASTIC! I am a 50ish year old women who attended a Saturday evening performance... Expand

  This was not my first time attending a NBFT performance. I usually enjoy their shows but I have to say.... Hair was FANTASTIC! I am a 50ish year old women who attended a Saturday evening performance with my 18 year old son and his friend (both went dressed in full hippie regalia). We all loved the show! The cast was extremely talanted, energetic and enthusiastic. We arrived early enough to see cast members roaming around the theater. We got to interact with quite a few of the cast. They would not break character! FUN! I can honestly say they did an excellent job with all of the songs. Black Boys / White Boys has always been a personal favorite and they definitely did it justice. Woof's comedic timing while he was lusting after Mick was spot on. Claude in uniform brought tears to my eyes.... Burger was perfection. And the band was wonderful. It was great that they were up on stage and could be seen! The New Bedford Festival Theatre is a gem!! Collapse
