The Dance Program (Office for the Arts at Harvard), born at Radcliffe College and now under the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, has been managed by the OFA since 1973. Seventeen co-curricular courses are offered by the Dance Program each term in a range of dance forms, taught by dance professionals from the Boston area. In a typical academic year, the Program has 800 participants. In addition to these co-curricular courses, credit dance courses are offered through the Committee on Dramatic Arts on a rotating basis. The Dance Program hosts master teachers and eminent choreographers throughout the year. It produces two annual concerts and supports the mounting of student-led company concerts.
