The Society is a non-profit regional education center dedicated to the preservation and promotion of excellence in both the traditional and contemporary arts and crafts. The Society consists of nine Guilds: Basketry, Decorative Arts, Ceramics, Needle Arts, Metalworkers, Painters, Polymer Clay, Weavers and Woodworkers. Its nearly 400 members are an active force in the arts community. The building provides well equipped work spaces. The Parsons Gallery and the Back Door Gallery used for a complete schedule of exhibits and sales events year-round. Three sessions of classes, Fall, Winter and Spring, are offered by all Guilds in their various mediums from the beginner to the advanced.
