Suzuki School of Newton

Suzuki School of Newotn is a non-profit community music and Preschool located in the Newton Cultural Center in Newtonville MA. Founded on the teaching philosophy of Dr. Shinich Suzuki, the Suzuki School's mission is to instill a lifelong love and respect for music and learning that will enrich its students lives, build character and a capacity for self-discipline. A key component of the school's program includes sharing newfound abilities through community concerts. The Suzuki Preschool integrates the Suzuki philosophy in its daily classroom and integrates arts education as a key component of its curriculum.

    Preschool Summer Adventure Program Preschool Summer Adventure Program Presented by Suzuki School of Newton June 18-August 10, 2012 The Summer Adventure Camp is for preschool children ages 2.9-5 years of age. This program is bound to entertain and excit your little one with weekly themes, activities, and outdoor play. The program runs from 9am-3pm with a half day option. There is a weekly enrollment, and each week will be based on a new theme.     Fiddle Masters First Baptist Church in Newton Fiddle Masters Presented by Suzuki School of Newton at First Baptist Church in Newton August 24, 2012 American Fiddle Method author and world touring fiddler, Brian Wicklund returns by popular demand bringing a hand picked array of musicians to perform fiddle, bluegrass, Appalachian, Swedish, country---terrific barrel 'o fun music. A pleasure for all ages, this is the highlight of the summer season in the heart of Newton. This concert is in conjunction with the 4-day FiddlePal camp held at the Suzuki School of Newton for ages 9-adult.
