I was hesitant to spend so much money on BMG because I believed that it must be an overhyped show. Since I was able to get a good discount on BosTix, however, I decided to purchase tickets for our family of four. It was a great decision - my girls, ages 12 and 15, were rolling with laughter and my husband and I had a great time too. The performance was creative, stylish, and had just enough infantile humor to keep us very, very entertained. I highly recommend - don't be skeptical - see the show! Collapse

Years ago, I saw BMG and loved them. They were really original and very edgy. This year, they were just ho-hum. My family from out of town loved them. But I thought their schtick went on too long... Expand
Years ago, I saw BMG and loved them. They were really original and very edgy. This year, they were just ho-hum. My family from out of town loved them. But I thought their schtick went on too long without enough variety. The IPOD thing was boring and there was too much gross "throwing up." If it were a bit more variety, with more of their trademark interesting music/instrumentation, I'd go again, in a second. But for now, they left a bad taste in my mouth. And a big dent in my wallet. I have always wanted to see this show. Finally, this was the chance when I was away on business. Go figure! The show was intense funny and engaging. However, I wanted to be more interactive but sitting in the side mezzanine section didn't allow me. The orchestra peope had the most fun. I wish there were more stuff flying out a people. I originally didn't know that was part of the show. After I found out, I wanted to see more. Collapse

I visit Dick's Beantown Comedy Vault almost every time I'm in Boston. The atmosphere there is relaxed, the staff is friendly and the comedians are very funny.

Two Sunday matinees ago I took a young teenage friend of mine to see this play...she hadn't experienced theater like this...she just loved it! Seated so close to the stage we felt like were apart of the act. The interaction with the cast was so much fun. Neil A. Casey (Tony) kept us in stitches, all the performers were very entertaining. This was my third time seeing Shear Madness but it won't be my last. Thanks for thirty years of suspense and laughter! Collapse

This show was out of this world when I saw it on a Friday night at 8pm with just adults, but Sunday at 5 with more teens and tweens in the audience the kids had a blast too! The Blue Cell phones... Expand
This show was out of this world when I saw it on a Friday night at 8pm with just adults, but Sunday at 5 with more teens and tweens in the audience the kids had a blast too! The Blue Cell phones should tell people it's OK to get up out of your seat and "Shake Your Bootie!" That would have added to the FUN! Oh Yeah and ushers please next time let the kids keep their glow bracelets! Collapse

It seems a lot of people, myself included, have seen this show multiple times. My son and daughter both love the show and want to be in the show badly. I don't know if there has ever been a blue woman but... Our most recent trip to the show had me in stitches, there were new additions to the mayhem and I don't want to give too much away, but I will quote my daughter when I asked her what she thought of the new bits, "My cheek hurts from being so funny."
