Lizard Lounge
Comment on Facebook Lizard Lounge is an intimate and inviting live music club, located just north of Harvard Square at 1667 Mass Ave in Cambridge. With its subterranean location, sensuous red lighting, and welcoming staff, Lizard Lounge brings such a unique vibe to performances that Rolling Stone Magazine hailed, “Lizard Lounge is where it’s at – intimate, eclectic hot spot.”
Lizard Lounge features live performances seven nights a week (cover varies), ranging from the area’s hottest local bands to touring national acts. In addition to rock and roots, you might also find opera, classical music or Balkan folk music dotting the Lounge’s diverse calendar. As ongoing series, every Monday night features The Lizard Lounge Open Mic Challenge hosted by Tom Bianchi, and every Sunday night, The Jeff Robinson Trio hosts the legendary Lizard Lounge Poetry Jam and Slam (14 years running!). In addition, the world renown groove collective Club D’Elf has called Lizard Lounge home for over 13 years and can be seen performing here once or twice a month.
The Lizard Lounge has a full bar, cocktail list, and 30 brews on tap. Our dinner menu is available every night until midnight. Located just 4 blocks north on Mass Ave from Harvard Square under Cambridge Common restaurant.

Take the Red Line to Harvard Square Exit. From Harvard Square, walk north on Mass. Ave (towards Arlington, away from Boston). Lizard Lounge is about four blocks north on your right, under Cambridge Common restaurant.
THERE IS FREE PARKING IN THE CAMBRIDGE COMMON PARKING LOT, DIRECTLY BEHIND THE RESTAURANT, ON STREET PARKING, and OTHER PARKING OPTIONS (please call the restaurant 617.547.1228)
