Sanders Theatre is famous for its design and its acoustics. A member of the League of Historic American Theatres, the 1,166 seat theatre offers a unique and intimate 180 degree design which provides unusual proximity to the stage.

      06/09/12	Boston Landmarks Orchestra Gala Concert 2012 Sanders Theatre Boston Landmarks Orchestra Gala Concert 2012 Presented by Boston Landmarks Orchestra at Sanders Theatre June 9, 2012 Join the Boston Landmarks Orchestra for their annual Gala concert on June 9th. It will help raise money so the orchestra can continue to perform free concerts on the Hatch Shell and in Boston's neighborhoods. The evening will include a special performance by the Boston Children's Chorus whose founder, Hubie Jones, will be honored at the event. A new work by a young Venezuelan musician living in Boston, Gonzalo Grau, will also be premiered.
