    Completed in 1989, the Tsai Performance Center defines the ideal performance space for concerts, theatrical, and dance presentations, lectures, film programs, and conferences.

    Situated in the College of Arts and Sciences building, at the heart of the Boston University campus, the Tsai Performance Center radiates simple warmth and elegance. It features fully supported sound and lighting systems to meet the demands of the most complex events. With a maximum seating capacity of 515, this proscenium stage offers excellent sightlines that enable you to appreciate the onstage performance from every seat in the house.

    The Tsai Performance Center is part of Events & Conferences, the Boston University department that plans and coordinates programming on campus for both internal departments and external clients.

    Parking Information:

    Metered parking is available along Commonwealth Avenue, Bay State Road, and Granby Street. Meters are free after 6pm daily as well as all day on Sunday. Street parking is the best option on Saturday evenings and Sundays.

    Parking facilities are located at 665 Commonwealth Avenue (Granby Lot) and 549 Commonwealth Avenue (Kenmore Lot).  A flat rate of $10 is offered after 3pm and on Saturdays, but rates do increase when events are scheduled at Fenway Park. Please note these lots are typically not open on Saturday evenings or Sunday, so we suggest street parking during those times. Your vehicle may be subject to towing if you park in a BU parking lot without the appropriate permit/pass.
