The First Unitarian Society of Newton (FUSN) is located in the City of Newton, Massachusetts. The center of Newton is approximately seven miles from downtown Boston, although Newton abuts Boston and several of its neighborhoods. Newton was originally settled in 1630 as a part of Cambridge, the home of Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Newton was incorporated in 1688.
