Boston Opera House
Located in the heart of Boston's Theater District, the Boston Opera House is New England’s premier theater for live entertainment.
The Boston Opera House first opened in 1928 as the B. F. Keith Memorial Theatre. It was commissioned by Keith’s collaborator Edward Albee as a tribute to his late partner and friend Benjamin Franklin Keith, the originator and leading impresario of refined vaudeville entertainment that flourished in North America from the late 1800s until the 1930s. Thomas White Lamb, the most accomplished theater architect of his day, was hired to bring all of his experience and skills to bear with a mandate to “spare no expense” in tribute to Keith. Since a full $50 million restoration was completed in 2004, the results of Lamb’s genius and the work of the world’s leading craftsmen past and present are here in the Boston Opera House for you to enjoy – regal surroundings, clear and proximate sightlines and near-perfect acoustics. Every seat in the house is a good seat.

Sanders TheatreSanders Theatre is famous for its design and its acoustics. A member of the League of Historic American Theatres, the 1,166 seat theatre offers a unique and intimate 180 degree design which provides unusual proximity to the stage. |

Symphony HallSymphony Hall opened on October 15, 1900. It was the first concert hall designed with acoustical principles in mind and is regarded as one of the two or three finest halls in the world. With the exception of the wooden floors, the Hall is built of brick, steel, and plaster, with only a moderate amount of decoration. |

Tsai Performance CenterTsai Performance Center, associated with Boston University, presents many free classical concerts by both student and professional groups. The New England Philharmonic and Boston Musica Viva are regular guests in the 500-seat theater. More recently, the center has played host to tapings of Late Night with David Letterman and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. |

New Repertory Theatre in Residence at The Arsenal Center for the Arts Charles Mosesian TheaterNew Rep’s Mainstage shows are performed in the 340-seat Charles Mosesian Theater in the Arsenal Center for the Arts. Built in 2005, the Charles Mosesian Theater is a modern performance space with the most up-to-date theatrical lighting and sound technology. The Mosesian is fully climate controlled with comfortable stadium style seating. The Arsenal Center for the Arts is ADA complient. |
