Presented by National Park Service: U.S. Department of the Interior at Faneuil Hall May 25, 2012 - Ongoing The National Park Service visitor center at 15 State Street will close its doors on May 21, 2012 to be replaced by a new, state-of-the-art, visitor center opening in historic Faneuil Hall on Friday, May 25, 2012.
The new visitor center will be much more than an entryway into Boston National Historical Park and Boston African American National Historic Site. It will serve also as a gateway to all of the Massachusetts National Parks.

"Ragtime: The American Hooked Rug Tradition"
Presented by Osterville Museum May 31-September 28, 2012 Early hooked rugs were born of necessity: recycled fabrics and yarn (or just recycled textiles) became rugs that warmed homes. Choco utilizes collography in his work, a printmaking technique in which the image is composed from a variety of textured materials placed on a plate, then inked and pressed.
