This grand production of Don Quixote is full of virtuoso dancing with vivid sets and costumes. Nureyev first choreographed his version, based on the Petipa-Gorsky production, in Vienna in 1966. His spirited telling of this lively tale became one of his greatest successes. Rudolph Nureyev’s acclaimed production of Don Quixote was last performed by Boston Ballet in 2006.
