Day of Portugal - Parade
Presented by Boston Portuguese Festival June 17, 2012 The parade will start at Portuguese Square (Concord Avenue) in Somerville and work its way down Cambridge Street through Inman Square to its ending location in front of St. Anthony’s Church at the corner of Cambridge Street and Cardinal Medeiros Avenue.

Caliente: A Celebration of Latin Music

Herrmann's Royal Lipizzan Stallions at Cogswell’s Grant
Presented by Historic New England September 7-September 9, 2012 The Herrmann family, breeders and trainers of the famed Lipizzan horse, demonstrate the highest levels of horsemanship in three shows. These stallions are among the last horses capable of executing the "Airs Above the Ground" maneuvers, dramatic leaps and plunges that were developed as aggressive battle maneuvers in the sixteenth century, and are now among the most beautiful displays of equine grace and strength.
