Presented by AIB: The Art Institute of Boston May 10-June 16, 2012 The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University presents “Of Cuban Invention,” an exhibit featuring over 45 works on paper, painting, and sculpture by eight world-renowned Cuban artists.
The exhibit coincides with the 40th anniversary of the Center for Cuban Studies (CCS) in New York City, which in 1991 spearheaded a successful lawsuit against the U.S. Treasury Department that legalized the importation and sale of original Cuban art.
