Presented by Aardvark Jazz Orchestra at Killian Hall at MIT September 19, 2010 Aardvark Jazz Orchestra (Mark Harvey, Director) joins forces with cornetist Taylor Ho Bynum, a rising star of the international avant-garde, to open the band’s 38th season with Spoke-a-Phonic, the Boston spoke of Bynum’s Acoustic Bicycle Tour (two-week carbon-neutral tour of 6 New England states). The show will include Bynum's Choices, a concerto for trumpet/jazz orchestra with Harvey on trumpet, plus two premieres by Harvey: Constant Contact and Vuvuzela Nightmare.
