Update:
Couldn’t make it to our first Paving the Way: A Conversation with Leaders of Color in the Arts? Don’t worry. You can check out a recap of the event by Greg Cook on his Wonderland Blog, and you can watch a recording of the event at HowlRound.
With 1,500 arts and culture organizations in the city of Boston alone, the number of people of color leading these organizations is nowhere near as reflective of the 53% people of color living in the city. Join the Network for Arts Administrators of Color as we hear from arts leaders who have been paving their own way toward inclusion in the city and beyond. Learn about the path they took to get to this point in their career, how they have managed to “climb the ladder,” and what leadership feels like in a richly artistic yet deeply divided city.
After the hour-long discussion, stick around for the NAAC Boston Holiday party to mix and mingle with the panelists and other NAAC Boston members. RSVP is required for this private event.
