We know the importance the arts play in all our lives, providing us a space for community, inspiration, and healing, and the stay at home orders are difficult for us all. We are all adjusting to a new normal, and we know your top priority is keeping yourself, loved ones, and your community healthy.
The health and safety of our staff, arts organizations, and BosTix patrons are of the utmost importance to us. We are closely monitoring the evolving coronavirus/COVID-19 situation and are following the guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
As of March 13, 2020, we have canceled all in-person special events and gatherings hosted by ArtsBoston. The BosTix Booths in Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Copley Square are closed. All staff will work remotely through this time. If you have questions or concerns regarding your BosTix orders, please refer to our BosTix F.A.Q. or contact our customer service at email@example.com.
As of now, regular performances, exhibits, and experiences have been canceled or postponed, but know that that arts community is hard at work to figure out ways to keep you virtually entertained, inspired, and connected. Every week, we’ll share these uplifting stories and online opportunities for you to engage with the art and artists you love. How You Can Help!
Three things you can do to support the arts community:
- DONATE: rather than ask for a refund for your canceled performance, donate the value back to the organization.
- SHARE A STORY: share a photo or post an Instastory on Instagram of your favorite arts experience. Tag @artsboston so we can share!
- MAKE A PLAN TO COME BACK: Consider joining as a member or subscriber of your favorite arts organization. You’ll provide needed funds now and be the first to hear about new events once they are running again.
