Founded in 1975, ArtsBoston is a nonprofit arts service organization with annual revenues of $1.2 million. Our award-winning programs reach more than 1 million arts consumers and 120 member arts organizations throughout Greater Boston and beyond.

ArtsBoston connects people to and through the arts. We activate audience building and engagement tools, professional development networks and resources, and arts research to foster the growth of an equitable and inclusive arts community in Greater Boston, one that welcomes and represents everyone. We build community and advocate for the essential role of the arts sector in our civic, economic, and cultural life.

Our vision is a Greater Boston that thrives on arts and culture. A vibrant city that embraces arts and culture as an invaluable asset that powers ideas and creativity, fosters innovation and celebrates diversity.

ArtsBoston is committed to providing programs and services that are accessible to all. We recognize our part in the collective responsibility to foster an arts community in Boston that is inclusive of individuals with disabilities, including staff, partners, artists, and members of the public. We are continually improving the resources and accommodations that we offer, to ensure that everyone in our community can participate in arts programming with dignity, comfort, and independence.
